Dr. Anjali Singh
Dr. Anjali Singh is a senior faculty member of the Boston Ayurveda School. Her career in India established her as a prominent figure in Ayurveda. With a Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery and Ph.D. in Herbal Pharmacology from Banaras Hindu University, Dr. Anjali became a professor of plant medicine at Sri Krishna Ayurveda College and a leading doctor at SAS Ayurveda Hospital, treating a vast range of ailments and continuing to teach and train young clinicians.
With a doctoral specialization in Ayurvedic Pharmacology, Dr Anjali’s years of clinical practice saw her manage hundreds of difficult cases with Ayurvedic therapies and medicines. Her Ph.D. and post-graduation work involved creating and patenting new herbal drugs for wound healing and vulvovaginitis.
Dr. Anjali is an expert in digestive issues, respiratory diseases, allergies, gynecological problems and infertility, skin diseases, diabetes, venous, and pressure ulcers. She also specializes in Marma chikitsa treatment methodology and it is indicated especially for pain management and paresis.
Dr. Anjali’s passion is to spread the knowledge of the ancient science of Ayurveda and make it more accessible to Westerners. For her, Ayurveda is not only a system of medicine, it is a profound and healing “way of life”.
